Amy Winehouse: They successfully made me go to Rehab

After denying the use of illegal drugs, Amy Jade Winehouse, a British jazz singer, recently admitted the accusations. Last Jan. 22,2008, she was sent to the rehabilitation center by her family. She was seen on a video footage by someone in a hotel room which was immediately uploaded in the internet. There are a lot of theories about this scenario. For one, she is able to sue every site that has uploaded her video. Another, the one who took the video doesn’t have the right to post the video and Amy can sue whoever was in-charge of that.

I have seen the video and I think it was her. In my opinion, she should have not accepted that she was taking drugs. She could have easily say that she was not the one on the video. The officials will have a hard time of finding evidences. In this case, she had a very big chance of covering herself from all this accusations juust like PGMA who escaped our chance of overthrowing her as President of the Philippines.

The technology really helps a lot in our world. But the only thing that we should always keep in mind that we should know what we are doing. In Amy’s case, she should not rely on anyone this time because there are a lot of accusations on her.

Amy Winehouse getting high!!!

Evidence showed from www.youtube.com that Amy Winehouse is a drug user. Her privacy was abused by a friend and captured her on video getting high. The video was sent to the internet without her consent.

The problem is that she can disagree about using drugs and not go to rehabilitation. Well, I think she has the right to justify about her act. She can defend herself that the video is fake and that her privacy was destroyed. The one who took the video is a jerk because he/her betrayed his/her friend. The friend could’ve done something else than just humiliating her in front of the camera.

Amy Winehouse: The Cocaine Druggie.

Amy Winehouse, a 25 year old singer, was caught in a video using Cocaine. The person taking the video is a person she knows. The issue we are supposed to talk about is is it right for her to go to rehab because it invaded her “privacy”. When you are “famous”, there’s no such thing as “privacy”. That is, of course, according to the famous people. According to the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary, privacy means “freedom from unauthorized intrusion”.

If Amy did try to get out of the whole thing, she couldn’t use the excuse of “It wasn’t me”. I have seen the video and it is definitely her. If it was someone trying to be her,it would be impossible with all her tattoos and all. She could still try to get out of rehab is she talks about her Privacy issue. Below is the Anti-Wiretapping Law.

Section 1 of R.A. 4200 entitled, ” An Act to Prohibit and Penalized Wire Tapping and Other Related Violations of Private Communication and Other Purposes,” provides that it shall be unlawfull for any person, not being authorized by all the parties to any private communication or spoken word, to tap any wire or cable, or by using any other device or arrangement, to secretly overhear, intercept, or record such communication or spoken word by using a device commonly known as a dictaphone or dictagraph or detectaphone or walkie-talkie or tape recorder, or however otherwise described.

She could sue the person who took the video. It was posted in the Internet without her permission and it was invading her privacy. The person who recorded the video and put it up online for everyone to see is the one to blame. He/She broke the law. That is one of the reasons why paparazzi people are “hated” by the Famous.

For me, it is only right that she goes to rehab. Even if they need to invade her privacy, it is the best choice. It would be better for everyone that way, especially her and her family.

Drug issue of Amy Winehouse

On the news today Amy Winehouse she was taking cocane in her hotel room or apartment. Her friend was taking a video of her when she was taking drugs in her room. She knows that she is been taking a video of her. She is being put to rehab right by her family because of her condition and the evidence that has been made. She is always denying that she is taking drugs. But many people are saying that she is taking drugs because of her condition and how she looked.

The evidence of her taking drugs in her hotel room is also wrong because she has no privacy and in the first place she should not be taking drugs and she should be in rehab if she is really taking drugs so that she can be cured. In this issue privacy should really be a concern and trust issue in the part of her friend. And she does not know that it will be put in the internet, but she knows that her friend is taking a video of her. She is now in the rehab because she has no choice. All of her family sees it and also her husband I think she can’t deny it anymore.

In all the other controversy that have had in was all because of her use of drugs. She is also taking drugs with her husband and. Her issue now is still being talked about by many people because of the privacy issue and the things she is taking all of the time.

Amy Winehouse

A british singer Amy Winehouse was lately accused that she was using illegal drugs. A video was uploaded to many sites regarding this issue. She can’t deny it anymore, alot of people has already seen it and it seems to be very convincing. She can’t obviously deny it, she was clearly seen inhaling cocane and popping pills in her hotel room.

She was arrested at the Radisson SAS Hotel Norge Bergen at 7pm. Police found marijuana and a small stash of cocane in the suite. Later that night she was released after paying $714.At first she didn’t admit that she was using drugs and used her power of privacy to not use that video against her. Everybody has the right of privacy, she can use that to lessen the courts’ accusations but she can’t stop the people from watching that video. For me, her request of not using the video against her should be discarded. That video is the best evidence they’ve got and should be used against her. No privacy was violated, she trusted that person to take that video of her smoking pot, she allowed it to happen not thinking that the video can be posted by that friend in the internet and be viewed by thousands of people. It was her fault that the video was took, she allowed it to happen.

Amy Winehouse

There has been a lot of controversies about Amy Winehouse’s alleged drug addiction. Because of her pictures snorting cocaine that were released recently on the net, she was finally checked into rehab yesterday.

The videos and the pictures of her using drugs were released without her consent. This is a violation of her privacy. Sadly, the video was taken by her own friend. In my opinion, she should have the right to sue anyone who helped in distributing the video and the pictures. It was right for her to be checked in a rehab facility and be punished in that way, but the distibutors and those responsible should also suffer the consequences. I’m pretty sure that that kind of violation of privacy is not allowed in England.

This scandal will probably ruin her career. She has a lot of grammy nominations and according to Karl Lagerfeld, the new Brigitte Bardot. This just shows how powerful the web can be, destroying a young, rising star’s career. Hopefully she can rise from all this, and learn from her mistake. She should not let those responsible for releasing the videos go unpunished.

Amy Winehouse on drugs.. =\

My teacher told us that British singer Amy Winehouse uses illegal drugs. At first, I did not believe her but after watching the video, I was shocked. I saw her in a corner, picked up a lighter and this bottle-like thing then started to light it up like a match. It looked like she was smoking or something, eww.. Anyway, here is the video for all you readers out there.

After getting the video, her friend posted it on the internet for all to see. She was sent to rehab after trying to prove to them that she doesn’t use drugs. She said that they do not have the right to do that because it would mean invading her privacy. What the authorities did was right though, I mean.. The evidence is there. She should pay for it. Even if it means invading her privacy, they still should send her to rehab.

Amy Winehouse and her great misadventure

Once news broke out about Amy Winehouse’s cocaine scandal I bet many people just had to say “I thought she wouldn’t go to rehab. lol. <stereotype ownz>”. It is indeed right for her to go to rehab because she is quite a danger to herself. Drugs destroy lives and potentially, the lives of the people around the druggie. It’s a great thing that Amy decided to go. Also, it was very sensible of her to not have raised objections to the controversial taping of her cocaine-snorting video.

What if Amy did fight for her rights? What if she forced the issue? Again, the debate of the admissibility of illegitimately recorded evidence or wiretapping will be raised. As of now, wiretapped evidence will not stand in court. A serial-killer, for example, whose guilt was proven solely through wiretapped evidence can object to the validity of the evidence and be successful in doing so. This may seem gruesome and unjust but that is how the system of the United States runs. What more for a lesser crime such as Amy’s? She can indeed prosecute the one who took the video, the sites that show the video and the publications that released her pictures. Her privacy was intruded and it is in her rights to enjoy her privacy. It is quite funny that this situation has a controversial video, a controversial celebrity that can all be (mis)/judged by a controversial law.

It really was nice and smart of her to not have put up a fight.

Amy Winehouse - rehab

Amy Winehouse, a British singer, has checked into rehab. A private video of her smoking cocaine was posted on different websites. If the government insists on using the video against her, the strongest defense she can give is to claim her right of privacy. She cannot deny that it was her on the video because the video was clear enough for her to be recognized. I think her claim of privacy rights should not be accepted. That video is evidence, whether private or not. I look at it this way. It’s evident to everyone that you did something wrong. Pleading for your privacy wouldn’t do you any good because the evidence is already out. For example, there is a private video of a murder scene. It is shown out in public and the murderer is arrested. Even if the murderer claims his right of privacy, it’s still proven that he’s guilty. That’s my analogy.

The advancement of the technology has brought a lot of damage to the private lives of these celebrities. This is the price they pay for their fame and wealth. Yes, her privacy was violated but the truth about her was seen because of that. She knows she’s a celebrity and paparazzi are all over her. She should know better than allowing anyone to take a private video of her taking drugs.

Amy Winehouse to be sent to Rehab

Seeing from Youtube, her video… smokin’ crack… once, denyin’ that she’s not on illegal drugs, but seein her doin’ some Grand Theft Auto rip off stunts… nope, its not the car crashin’ or man huntin’, its her getting caught on many videos, first walkin around on a public place with only a bra on, and now… what she denies… smokin’ crack. It’s probably her, and her “friend” must be a traitor or maybe tryin’ to be the good person that she is, because her good o’ friend is a threat to the public and of course, herself. I believe that she really is that person, because to think about it, why would you take that chance of getting caught on somethin’ nasty if you’re a celebrity? She probably admits it, and she lets go of her privacy for once in a while so that she could show the acceptance of she admits that she’s on crack and of course… she’s goin’ to the rehab.
